Incitec Pivot reply to WSRW, 13 February 2015
Published 04 March 2015

Dear Sara

Thank you for your email 7 February 2015.

I can confirm that for the calendar year 2014, IPL received three shipments of phosphate rock from Western Sahara. The total volume was 94,600 tonnes.

We remain satisfied that IPL is not in breach of either Australian law or international law in respect of the procurement of phosphate rock from Western Sahara. As we have noted before, there has been no determination by the United Nations or any competent legal authority that the production and use of phosphate rock from Western Sahara is in violation of international law.

We will continue to monitor this complex situation and welcome a continued dialogue with you and other interested parties.

Kind regards

Matthew
